Norwegian Composite Center has started collaboration with Salpro Composites in Fredrikstad

Norwegian Composite Center (NSK) and  Salpro Composite in Fredrikstad has agreed on developing  a new product based on the Sheet Molding Compound processes (SMC ).  Salpro Composite is a small family run enterprise witch deliver composite products to a wide range of companies in Norway and Europe.

NSK will have the management of the project which will include CAD-design, FEM-analysis, simulation of the opportunities and developing the production process. The competence broker in Østfold  has supported the pre-project to establish a  main project plan including a marked analysis, developing a project plan and requirement specifications.  Together with Salpro Composites there will be developed an application to Innovation Norway for funding the main project.
